Active Peers AI Terms of Use

When we talk about “Active Peers” “us” or “we” in this policy, we are talking about Active Peers AI. These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") govern the use of www.activepeers.ai (the "Site"). This Site is owned and operated by Active Peers AI.

By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.

All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Active Peers AI and the Site's creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.

When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:

1. You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account; and
2. All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Site illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.



Your subscription automatically renews and you will be automatically billed until we receive notification that you want to cancel the subscription.

To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps:

At the conclusion of any applicable free trial period for the Services, you will be required to select a payment plan and provide us with your credit card and associated personal information, and you agree to keep this billing information up-to-date in your Active Peers AI services account. You hereby authorise Active Peers AI to bill your credit card in advance on a periodic basis as required under your payment plan until you terminate your Active Peers AI services account, and you further agree to pay any charges so incurred. If you dispute any charges you must let Active Peers AI know within fifteen (15) days after the date that Active Peers AI’ fee is billed to your credit card. We reserve the right to change Active Peers AI's payment plans and fees and in such event will notify you of such plan and/or fee change on the Site and/or in an email sent to you (at the last email address we have for you in Active Peers AI’ records) at least 30 days before the change is to take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the fee change becomes effective constitutes your agreement to pay the changed fee. Until your Active Peers AI services account is terminated, your Services subscription will automatically renew and your payment will be deducted in advance of the period set under your payment plan. If you terminate your account in accordance with these TOU before Active Peers AI processes your payment for a given payment cycle, then you will not be charged for the next payment. Active Peers AI does not offer refunds or credits for partial periods of service or unused periods.



ActivePeers AI allows the account owners to create unlimited number of  workspaces. The max. number of viewers a user can add in each workspace depends on the level of service. Free membership - 1 viewer, Basic - 5 viewers, Plus -8 viewers, and Premium - 12 viewers. The user can invite unlimited number of editors into each workspace and each of these licenses are added to the user's invoice.



ActivePeers AI retains the collected participants' survey and feedback data for 3 months as necessary to provide our services. After this period, the system automatically anonymise their names and emails addresses. Any recorded audio/video data is stored for a period of time depending on your membership level. Free membership - 6 months, Basic - 1 year, Plus - 2 years, and Premium - 3 years. The recorded audio/video data also can be deleted manually by the user.

We offer the following free trial of our services: A 14 day free trial that begins when users register for a new account. The free trial includes Conversation analysis, a Pre-built survey tool, Peer Learning prompter, Access to the Matching Algorithm, Max. 5 algorithm match running times, Access to the Feedback form, invitation to one viewer, Visualisation Dashboard.

At the end of your free trial, the following will occur: You can still log in to the platform and view your past work but cannot create new work. You will need to go to the "Upgrade Subscription" or "Billing Management" menus to upgrade your membership.

To delete your account, please follow these steps: Log in to your account - select "Account Settings" - select "Delete Account" to cancel the free trial/account.

We accept the following payment methods on our Site:

• Credit Card; and
• Debit.

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorise our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorise us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.

If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the Eurpoean Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase services from us within 14 days without giving notice. The cancellation period:

• Will end 14 days from the date of purchase when you purchased a service.

To exercise your right to cancel you must inform us of your decision to cancel within the cancellation period. To cancel, contact us by email at hello@activepeers.ai

If you requested the performance of services begin during the cancellation period, you are required to pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been performed until you have communicated to us your decision to cancel this contract. We will reimburse to you any amount you have paid above this proportionate payment.

We will make the reimbursement using the same form of payment as you used for the initial purchase unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees because of the reimbursement.

This right to cancel and to reimbursement is not affected by any return or refund policy we may have.

There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of Service, or refunds for months unused with an open account.We adhere to a limited refund policy that includes:

1.   proven overcharges on the company’s side – an overcharged amount will be refunded

2.   renewals of the unwanted annual subscription – if you contact us within 14 days from processing the payment a full refund will be issued

and we will review your case and use means in our power to counteract your dissatisfaction.

Where the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.

Active Peers AI and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Active Peers AI and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.



These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
