Mentoring enables you to:

  1. Become more employable as you glean new skills
  2. Gain visibility as your mentor sees your talents first-hand
  3. Use the experience gained in job interviews
  4. Become a better communicator
  5. Understand how the process works which prepares you to mentor others

As a team, think through the questions in the Peer Learning Prompter and consider your plan for the meeting

Discuss

Talk through these questions with your mentor. Invite their insight and ask them to share their experience.

Plan

Put together your plan for turning your conversation during the meeting into action and results!

Step 3: Mentees

Now that you've had your meeting with your mentor, it's important to reflect on what you've learned. Fill out this Review Form to guide you through how you're planning to work with your team to turn the conversation into fruitful action and productive results. Each member of the team needs to complete this form after each mentoring meeting.
